After receiving training from the University of Victoria Libraries Digitization Team, I went to work digitizing the selected resources using an Epson Expression 10000 XL flat-bed scanner, TTI scan-back machine, and Canon digital camera. Images on the flatbed scanner were saved as tiffs at 600 dpi, and photographs taken as high-resolution jpgs (RAW files were unnecessary for on-screen display).
The Epson Expression 10000 XL flat-bed scanner was used to digitize the majority of selected resources due to their relatively small size and two-dimensional format.
Digitization of a pencil sketch by Katharine Maltwood of "Armour Allamande 1560 - 1580" (knight's armor). The sketch appears on pages 59 and 60 of the c. 1898 grey linen notebook.

Sample digitization of resource edited so that verso (left) and recto (right) are viewable simultaneously. This is a an air view photograph of Somerset were Katharine Maltwood identified the head of the Giant Orion as part of her zodiac accompanied by a hand-drawn outline of significant land features.
Scan of the press clipping, "Televising the Holy Thorn, Scenes from Kingsthorn, Herefordshire, at Midnight on Christmas Eve, Old Style" from "The Illustrated London News". The Katharine Maltwood fonds include numerous press clippings Maltwood used as research material for her manuscript projects.
